Abstract: Introduction:The main purpose from this causal – comparative research was, assessment of language development of the four to six years old kindergarten children based on the demographic statuos of their familiesin Qom province. Research Method: 300 girls & boys in 5 eage s level : 4- 4.5- 5- 5.5 and 6 years old selected of Qom's kindergartens with cluster method, and coprated in tests. Instruments was: Test of language development "Told-P.3" (Hasanzadeh and Minayi, 2002) & Researcher made demografic test.Data was analyzed by using of descriptive statistical methods, Kolmogorov-Smirnov single-sample test and Independent Samples Kruskal-Wallis test and Independent Samples Mann-Whitney U-test, were used. Results: the findings showed that the development of language in these children progressed with age. Demographic situation of families don't effect in children's language development. Discussion: The argument in results show that language development of the children progresses with age according to language developmental theories. Moreover the lack of the effect of the families' demographic variables on the language development of the children verifies the importance of the social learningtheory.
